RE: A Collaborative Effort between Dealer, Distributor and Manufacturer
PITTSBURGH, PA (May 30, 2014) — When Everlast™ was first introduced in the market by Norandex five years ago; they knew that something special had been created. Local Home Improvement Dealer Neil Sciacca, President of New Jersey Siding & Windows, Inc., agrees.
“Everlast takes exterior cladding to an entirely new level,” says Sciacca. “New Jersey Siding & Windows, located in Randolph, NJ, is a full service home improvement company that has been servicing the area for more than 20 years. Everlast has been a real game-changer in this market.”
Norandex worked in cooperation with Chelsea Building Products to produce Everlast, a polymeric cladding product. Everlast is now firmly established as a new product category in the exterior building products market.
According to Van Garber, Vice President, Marketing for Norandex, “Our Everlast dealers have done a great job presenting their customers with a superior performing alternative to products currently on the market. We wanted to bring some of our very best dealers together for a dialogue about how we could expand on their success.”
New Jersey Siding & Windows was invited to meet with key managers of Norandex and Chelsea at the first annual Everlast Dealers Council. “We appreciate that Norandex values our opinion,” says Sciacca. “Norandex has worked with us over the years to provide installation and sales training to help us maximize performance of the Everlast product. We feel that continuing to work together is key to making a great product even better.”
Chelsea extrudes Everlast from a specially formulated PVC composite comprised of polyvinylchloride and inorganic minerals. Extruded planks are ¼” thick, providing superior dimensional strength. But even though Everlast is sturdy, it is also lightweight—just about half the weight of fiber cement siding. Everlast is available in fourteen popular colors that are protected with ColorHold®, a UV-stable acrylic polymer. The fade-resistant finish never needs painting, and is backed by a Lifetime Fade Warranty. Everlast is available in two sizes (7” and 4-1/2” clapboard), includes color-coordinating accessories, and is 100% recyclable.
“Whenever you have the chance to get dealers together with the experience and insight of people like Neil Sciacca,” says Norandex’s Garber, “good things are bound to happen.”
Norandex, Chelsea and New Jersey Siding & Windows expect 2014 to be a breakout year for Everlast.
